Comida Corrida


A Prixe Fixe three course lunch for those on the run, starting with Sopita de Tortilla, a cup of rich
Tortilla Soup with green, red and yellow tortilla strips, avocado and crema in a broth based on pasilla chiles,

a main of Carnitas Tacos with onion and cilantro, a cup of refritos negroes with queso fresco, and a smoky salsa,

and a dessert of Corn Mousse.  There are at least three choices for each course and each diner gets a liter of agua fresca to accompany the meal, plus a liter of water.  This was Agua Fresca de Melon.  The drinking glasses are made of old bottles.
